Block 1: Sewing Directions, Part 2

Using the half-square triangle from the previous page and a 2-3/4" square of your background, lay one of each right sides together.

Sew down the side, so the light background square is attached to the medium/dark side of the triangle, as pictured.

Press the seam allowance toward the background fabric.

You will need 80 of these units, and they should measure 2-3/4" x 5".

Done? Let's set those aside for a bit, and move onto piecing block 1, part 3!
