2026-2027 “It’s My Birthday”
The Challenge this year will celebrate your birthday month! Here are the details:
- Use your month as an inspiration to create a quilted piece
- Size guidelines
- Any size between a perimeter of 96” to 216”
- This allows for a wide range of projects, from table or wall quilts to lap sized.
- Technique
- You may choose any technique, style or pattern
- Use your birthday month- holidays (official or not), the season it falls within, birthstone, or flower, sports, climate….. whatever!
- Please include your birthday somewhere on the quilt (year is optional!)
- Due Date
- All Challenge pieces are due in February!
- We hope to have them included in the NEQE show in April
- How to Participate
- Please sign up at the Guild Challenge table at the October meeting, indicating your name and month. Or contact Jean or Jeanne.
We hope to have the whole year represented! Have fun with this challenge and we can’t wait to see the results!
